SUMMARY:Communications Forum – BCCM Leaders’ Summit
DESCRIPTION:BCCM members \nThe BCCM will host our inaugural Communications Forum at the 2023 BCCM Leaders’ Summit. This facilitated workshop will examine how to use marketing and communications to capitalise on consumer interest in socially purposed businesses. \nPolling that the BCCM conducted earlier in the year shows that most members of a co-op or mutual are unaware of the organisation’s ownership structure – consistent with the results of our 2017 and 2012 surveys. At the same time\, participation in co-ops and mutuals has grown with a younger generation that is increasingly interested in doing business with purpose-led organisations. \nIn this 2½ hour workshop\, we’ll analyse the results of our polling trends and explore the messaging blueprint the BCCM has created for co-ops and mutuals to communicate the value they create for our economy and society. In the participatory section\, attendees will co-design a communications roadmap for capitalising on this consumer interest in our business values and discuss how to use this to leverage their brand proposition. \nThe workshop will take place on 25 October as part of the BCCM Leaders’ Summit. Register to attend and book your ticket.
