Managing Partner, Mutuo UK
Peter founded Mutuo in 2001 as the first cross mutual sector body to promote mutual business to opinion formers and decision makers. Peter led the parliamentary teams which piloted four private members bills through the UK Parliament, working with all parties to update co-operative and mutual law and encouraging employee ownership. He is a founder member of the management board of the Oxford Centre for Mutual and Employee owned business. In 2011, he advised the UK Coalition Government on its plans to mutualise Post Office Ltd and in 2012 published the report of the Ownership Commission, a two- year study into corporate diversity.

Melina is the inaugural CEO of the Business Council of Co-operatives and Mutuals. She is an advocate for all forms of mutually owned enterprise, regularly contributing commentary and appearing as a spokesperson for the sector. Melina has commissioned, edited and co-written the sector’s first national mapping reports. Melina’s former roles in the co-operative sector include five years as editor of the flagship publication for the global peak body, the International Co-operative Alliance (ICA). Melina wrote the message platform for the ICA’s global strategy, Blueprint for a Co-operative Decade. Her advocacy work for the sector resulted in Australia minting a coin commemorating the International Year of Co-operatives in 2012. Melina successfully lobbied for a Senate inquiry into the co-operative and mutual business sector, which handed down its report in March 2016.
Chairman, Non-Executive Director, Advisor
Kyle is a Chairman, Non-Executive Director and Advisor with more than two decades of experience across the commercial, community and public sectors. He has a particular interest and experience in the transformation of business facing disruption. Kyle is currently Chair of Local Government Super, a non-executive director of Credit Union Australia, Chair of Drive Yello, Chair of Hunter Medical Research Institute, Chair of the Australian Transformation and Turnaround Association and a Conjoint Professor in the Faculty of Business and Law at University of Newcastle. In December 2017 Kyle completed a three-and-a-half-year term as Chairman of the NRMA where he directed a period of significant cultural and operational change requiring considerable strategy and risk expertise. In an executive capacity he established, grew and managed an independent car broking business that disrupted the motor vehicle retail industry. The company was purchased by
ASX listed A.P Eagers. Kyle is a Fellow of the AICD and AUSTTA, has completed an MBA at University of Newcastle, a Harvard Business School Certificate in Disruptive Strategy and a Transformation Leadership Program at ANU.

Kristin started Webgirl Consulting as a soloist in 2009 and has since expanded to partner with talented specialists from around the globe to develop tailored digital solutions. Webgirl Consulting specialises in Digital Strategy, Analysis, Design, Development, Production and Communications, to analyse, plan, design, develop and implement your online, and digital projects. Kristin and Webgirl Consulting has worked with BCCM since its formation, creating and managing its digital offerings.
