Webinar with Charles Gould, ICA Director-General

07 May 2014

BCCM is delighted to offer a limited number of FREE places to join Charles (Chuck) Gould, Director-General of the International Co-operative Alliance (ICA) for a one-off webinar on Wed May 21 at 7.00-7.45 PM AEST on the ICA’s Chuckambitious plan to grow the co-operative movement over the next decade.

Chuck will discuss the ICA’s Blueprint for a Co-operative Decade, the internationally agreed plan to make co-operatives the fastest growing form of enterprise by 2020, followed by a Q&A session on how to take co-operative business to the next level.

With a billion members globally, three times the number of stockmarket investors, co-operatives are arguably the most successful form of enterprise on the planet. In the wash up from the GFC the resilience of co-ops in times of crisis was a shining beacon of business success. In 2012, the world celebrated the contribution of co-operatives to social and economic development in the United Nations International Year of Co-operatives. The global co-op sector has now embarked on an ambitious plan to take co-operative business to a new level.

This webinar is part of the BCCM’s Global Leader Dialogues series presented in association with LBMX.

Register at Eventbrite now for a unique chance to speak directly with the leader of the International co-operative movement.
