This unique program has been developed to provide foundational information about co-operatives and mutuals for your employees.
Developed especially as an easy and affordable induction training for new employees, this industry developed course is relevant for staff at all levels to ensure a consistent level of knowledge across the co-operative and mutual enterprise (CME) sector.
It is designed to ensure CME employers can provide an introductory overview of the business model and the CME sector to new and existing staff.

This is achieved through a deeper understanding of the fundamental principles which underpin CMEs as businesses that put purpose, people, and communities at the heart of the enterprise.

Simon Stahl has been working in the beef & pork processing industries for over 30 years. Simon is broadly experienced in the Australian meat processing industry having worked at KR Darling Downs in Toowoomba and Nippon Meat Packers Australia (NMPA). Simon has a Bachelor of Commerce, Accounting Major and his professional career has spanned positions in payroll, IT, HR, Manager corporate affairs and Innovation, senior accountant, Managing Director of NMPA & Chief Executive Officer, The Casino Food Co-op. Simon currently sits on the AMIC National processor committee and has previously held the position of Director of the Australian Meat Processor Corporation (AMPC). Simon is currently Chairman of Northern Rivers NSW Brand committee and a member of ‘Our Kids’ Committee.
Simon is passionate about diversity and inclusivity within the Co-op, building a positive work culture and is an advocate for working for a stronger community.
