Diversity and Inclusion Cross-Sector Project meeting

A follow-up meeting to a workshop hosted by COBA last year and facilitated by Diversity and Inclusion leader, Troy Roderick. The workshop was held to explore perspectives on diversity and inclusion in the co-operative and mutual sector and how by working together cross-sectorally, our businesses can become leaders in diversity and inclusion.

The sector peak bodies, BCCM, COBA, and industry committee, Women in Mutuals met several times in 2021 to discuss and plan a cross-sector project on diversity and inclusion. Following Troy’s workshop, a report has been written on a roadmap for working together on diversity and inclusion. At the 14 February meeting we will be discussing this report, Troy’s recommendations and where to take the project next.

By attending the kick-off meeting you are not being asked to make a long-term commitment, however, we do welcome diverse views and ideas on activities we can undertake as a sector. Please forward the invitation to interested colleagues.
