Bernadette Inglis is Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Newcastle Greater Mutual Group Ltd (NGM Group), a customer-owned financial services organisation which provides retail banking under its brands Greater Bank and Newcastle Permanent. Bernadette has over 20 years’ executive leadership experience in financial services, including as Chief Executive Officer of Newcastle Permanent through to the merger with Greater Bank. She has been a successful business leader in retail banking, wealth management and insurance, and has held senior executive roles across core corporate services functions at national and regional organisations. Bernadette also has extensive experience across a broad spectrum of Board appointments including arts, education, infrastructure and supply chain. Her involvement has also extended to a number of community engagements.
