TMB were among ninety diverse organisations nationwide who received the citation from the WGEA, which recognises employer commitment and best practice in promoting gender equality in Australian workplaces.

The citation recognises the ‘commitment and best practice’ of companies promoting gender equality in the workplace. Announcing the citations, WGEA highlighted the winning employers for being at the ‘frontline of driving positive change as they set the gold standard for inclusive workplaces’.

Some other co-operative and mutual enterprises (CMEs) included in the list were CUA, Queensland Country Credit Union and Teachers Health Fund highlighting how equality is at the core of the co-operative and mutual business model.
