International Women’s Day 2025

08 March 2025

This year, the theme for IWD was “For ALL women and girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment.” It called for actions that can unlock equal rights, power, and opportunities for all and a feminist future where no one is left behind.

Watch the BCCM’s International Women’s Day campaign, celebrating our chief executive leaders of co-ops and mutuals, on LinkedIn.

Ms. Chitose Arai, Chairperson of ICA-AP Committee on Women, encouraged cooperators to continue giving more opportunities to women to participate, especially young women and emerging women leaders, to speak up, to capacitate them to lead and make decisions, to strengthen their capacities, and to sensitise them about their rights.
