Co-operatives and mutuals consistently outperform other corporate sectors in terms of customer satisfaction and customer and employee satisfaction ratings as latest benchmarking research shows.

Roy Morgan research shows mutuals clear leaders

The latest consumer research shows the customer owned model is the clear leader in banking customer satisfaction. The Roy Morgan analysis found that for Main Financial Institutions, the ‘Mutual Sector’ (91.4%), outperforms the ‘Major Four Banks’ (81.9%). BCCM member bankmecu is one of only four banks in Australia with a satisfaction level over 90 per cent.

B-Corp “Best for Worker Impact” rates employee ownership

B Lab has released its rating of American B-Corps. Organisations make the list by scoring in the top 10% of all B Corps for worker impact. The ratings list contained several worker co-ops and employee owned organisations, including Co-operative Homecare Associates, King Arthur Flour and Namaste Solar.
