10 June 2015

The RAC WA has launched a free road safety education program for all Western Australian children aged between five and 12 years old. The program, RAC Little Legends Club, is a fun and interactive program features educational games available on desktop and tablet, and can be completed at the child’s own pace. The program is free and accessible online enabling metropolitan and rural teachers alike to incorporate it into their curriculum.

RAC Executive General Manager Advocacy and Members, Patrick Walker, said “Educating children from an early age will ensure that road safety messages have maximum impact and a lasting impression through to their adult life.

“Most children know how important it is to be able to read and write, because it’s ingrained into them in their early school lives. Knowing how to use roads is just as important”, concluded Mr Walker.
