2022 BCCM Leaders' Summit

Triple threat or triple opportunity

An invitation from the CEO

First speakers announced and early bird tickets open for the 2022 BCCM Leaders’ Summit and Industry Dinner

The BCCM Leaders’ Summit is Australia’s only cross-sector business summit for co-operative and mutual leaders. Held over two days – 17 and 18 November 2022, in Melbourne – featuring highly regarded international and national speakers in plenary sessions and interactive roundtable discussions.

We have developed a high-level program for executives and directors dealing head on with the need for a unified vision for growth for our sector and to help Australia address systemic risks to the economy through co-operation. This was the call to action recently tabled at the June CEO Summit on industry collaboration.

The theme of ‘triple threat or triple opportunity’ is a platform to debate three business trends – competition, conscious consumerism and consolidation.

Key speakers include:

  • Jeremy Duffield, Ex-CEO and Founder, Vanguard Australia
  • Enrique de los Rios, CEO, Unica Group (Spain)
  • Eric Balchunas, Senior ETF Analyst Bloomberg Intelligence and author of The Bogle Effect
  • Ana Aguirre, President, Youth Network, International Co-operative Alliance

Our popular CEO Dialogue breakouts will address four ideas to take Australia forward:

  1. Food security and sustainable domestic agriculture
  2. A just transition to a greener economy
  3. Affordable housing for all Australians
  4. A sustainable and valued care workforce

These workshop style discussions will inform deliverable policy solutions for government to make real-world positive changes for Australians. The workshops will be documented photographically and written-up so that your thought leadership and contributions are captured.

As always, the Summit kicks off with the Taste of Australia Dinner and the BCCM Honour Roll Awards.

The Summit hosts the regular Chairs’ Forum luncheon scheduled for Thursday, 17 November at midday. For the first time, the Summit will host an Agricultural co-operatives roundtable on Thursday, 17 November.
