Co-op housing on The Project

The Project covered co-op housing last night showing the growing interest in affordable housing models that offer an affordable and desirable alternative to private renting. Loved sharing our housing members Common Equity Housing Limited (CEHL), Common Equity, Australian Co-operative Housing Alliance (ACHA), Common Equity Housing SA Ltd, Co-operation Housing, United Housing Co-operative model that has been providing Australians from all walks of life with high quality, secure, permanent affordable rental housing for decades.

Co-ops are less than one per cent of housing in Australia compared to 25 per cent or more in many major European cities. It’s time to shift the dial and help this housing model fill the missing middle in housing between private ownership and private rental.
