The Social Care Community of Practice (CoP) is a series of online meetings and events designed to develop a network of people and enterprises interested in business model innovation involving new models of ownership that empower consumers and workers in social care.
The focus of our tenth Social Care Community of Practice will be on worker co-operatives and how they attract and retain staff with high levels of consumer and staff engagement.
We will draw on the Care Together project pipeline to provide some examples of worker co-operatives with a facilitated panel, including established worker co-operatives and care work discussed through the lens of a care worker.
We will also update attendees on the Care Together Program, drawing on feedback to our first progress report and insights to inform next stages.
The BCCM’s CEO, Melina Morrison and Care Together Program Director, Gillian McFee, will facilitate this discussion and Q&A.
Attend our Social Care Community of Practice on Thursday, 21 September 2023, 3:00 – 5:00 pm AEST.
Please email Nicole Vlakic to apply to join the Social Care Community of Practice.
If you missed our June 2023 CoP webinar, you can watch it online or read more about the speakers.
