All BCCM members welcome.
The BCCM will showcase projects supported by Australia’s first co-operative enterprises development fund at The Bunya Fund Showcase.
The Bunya Fund was established in 2022 by the Business Council of Co-operatives and Mutuals to assist the next generation of high impact co-operatives to scale and grow. More than $350,000 has been committed in the first three years to fund community owned co-ops to increase their social, environmental and economic impact in key areas of the economy from housing to health, employment, disability services, organic farming and the arts.
To mark the halfway point of the first three years of the Bunya Fund we are holding a project showcase and panel discussion on “Community ownership: the social impact multiplier” on Wednesday, 20 March, 3:30 – 5:30 pm, in the Wominjeka Amphitheatre, Australian Unity, 271 Spring St, Melbourne.
Celebrate the power of co-operatives in the community.
Speakers:
And Bunya changemakers, Fellan Buckley (KCLC) Elena Pereyra (Cohousing Australia) and Zane Alcorn (Earthworker Construction Co-operative).
The Bunya Fund is generously supported by the co-operative and mutual industry. With thanks to the inaugural Bunya Funders Australian Unity, Bank Australia, CBH and CoPower.
