Co-operatives UK launches online business support programme

Co-operatives UK, in partnership with the Co-operative Bank, have launched The Hive, a new business support programme for people wanting to start or grow co-operative or community enterprises.

The website, like Get Mutual, provides visitors with a range of online resources, training and advice that can help people build a better co-operative business. The Hive provides information on:

In addition, The Hive programme offers co-operative skills training and group advice sessions with peer mentoring and one-to-one advice tailored support being offered by April 2016.

The Hive programme is being delivered by Co-operatives UK, the trade body and network for Britain’s thousands of co-operatives. Co-operatives UK works to promote, develop and unite member-owned businesses, which are worth more than £37 billion to the British economy.
