The BCCM is delighted to announce we will be presenting the BCCM CEO Leaders’ Summit as a hybrid event (in person and online) on Wednesday March 17, 2021 in the James Cook Ballroom at the InterContinental Hotel, Sydney.
Please note, due to the current venue regulations and interstate travel restrictions, the Taste of Australia Dinner has been postponed until later in the year.
The Summit features ABC Insiders host, David Speers, moderating panel discussions on the theme of Sustainability and ESG with an exciting line-up of national and international guests.
Our speakers include ESG pioneer Colin Melvin, MD, Arkadiko Partners (UK) – who first coined the term ‘ESG’; Jacki Johnson, Co-Chair Australian Sustainable Finance Initiative (ASFI) and Co-Chair of the UNEP FI Global Steering Committee; Claire LaBouchardiere, Senior Lawyer Corporations, ASIC and Dr John Hewson AM.
In person delegates can attend ‘deep dive’ CEO roundtable discussions exploring strategies for elevating the ‘social’ in their business and the corporate governance implications of climate risk. If you cannot travel to Sydney in March, delegates can jump online for an impactful program on the theme of sustainability and ethical investment opportunities.
Capping the day off, BCCM will host its first online and in person Awards ceremony announcing the 2020 Honour Roll Inductees into the virtual Hall of Honour. Members are invited to host ‘Virtual Cocktails’ around the country to celebrate the awardees, with live music from our jazz band.
