NSW based members of the BCCM are cordially invited to attend the first meeting of the NSW Parliamentary Friends of Co-operatives and Mutuals to enjoy a roof-top BBQ and sample co-operative produce, and to meet with Parliamentarians.
About the Group
The Business Council of Co-operatives and Mutuals (BCCM) has advocated for the first ever Parliamentary Friends Group for Co-ops and Mutuals in the New South Wales Parliament since our formation in 2013. The Group was inaugurated on 9 June 2022 at a meeting attended by BCCM CEO, Melina Morrison.
The Group has been established to represent the 750 NSW based co-ops and mutuals in the 57th Parliament of NSW. It will provide a forum for members of Parliament to meet and interact with mutual and co-operative businesses on matters relating to levelling the playing field for our sector.
