Mutual champion to step down after 13 years

Business Council of Co-operatives and Mutuals member RACQ has announced Group CEO Ian Gillespie will step down from the role at 31 December 2019.

BCCM CEO Melina Morrison said “Ian’s passion for the sector has been a driving force in the recent landmark reforms for the sector including the first positive legislative reforms for mutual companies in 18 years and development of the first member value accounting framework.”

“Ian has provided invaluable leadership in the mutual and co-operative sector in Australia and we thank Ian for his contribution as a director of the BCCM Board.”
