Co-operatives Tasmania network formed

03 March 2017

Tasmanian co-operators and supporters have formed a network to advance co-operative development in Tasmania.

Business Council of Co-operatives and Mutuals (BCCM) CEO Melina Morrison said that it was exciting to see local co-operatives wanting to organise to develop the sector.

The decision to form a network came from a meeting of Tasmanian co-operatives held in Hobart in early February.

The network will be convened by Molly Kendall, a co-ordinator at Resource Work Co-operative.
