Could more co-ops help fix the aged care crisis?

For the co-operative and mutual sector, the aged care reforms that will follow the Aged Care Royal Commission’s report next month are a once-in-a-generation opportunity.

The Business Council of Co-operatives and Mutuals wants an increase in the number of member-and-employee-owned organisations in the aged care sector. It says that would lead to more accountable and quality aged care services.
