28 November 2013

Teachers Health Fund CEO Brad Joyce has highlighted the the vital contribution of member-owned health funds to Australia after becoming Chairman of the Health Insurance Restricted and Regional Membership Association of Australia.

Mr Joyce, an association board member for the past eight years, said his focus will be on “highlighting the vital contribution member-owned health funds make to the lives of Australians”.

“Genuine competition in this market benefits all Australians, so it is critical that private health insurance is not concentrated in the hands of a few large corporate organisations.”
