Border region needs help to bring in workers to speed recovery

“A shortage of skilled workers is significantly hampering flood recovery efforts on the NSW North Coast, according to a submission to the inquiry into the disaster. The submission, jointly prepared by the Business Council of Co-operatives and Mutuals and the Northern Rivers Co-operatives Alliance, called for housing to accommodate those workers to help communities get back on their feet.”
