Nundah Community Enterprises Co-op wins national award

Last week, the winners of the 2015 Australian Social Enterprise Awards were announced with Queensland based co-op Nundah Community Enterprises named the Australian Social Enterprise of the Year (Small).

The national awards, run by social enterprise development organisation Social Traders, recognise excellence amongst businesses that are trading to deliver social or community benefit. The Nundah Co-op was established in 1998 and provides meaningful employment for people with intellectual disabilities and mental health issues.

Winners were selected by an independent judging panel of content and sector experts, headed by global strategy advisor Simon Gillies from PwC.
